THE FOCUS OF THE MORAVIAN HERITAGE SOCIETY is ON THE FAMILY and its connection as a worldwide organization linking past to present generations.
Those involved come to realize their connection to peoples of many kindreds, tongues and nations. A sense of belonging to an international community begins to fill the heart with a greater acceptance and understanding of mankind.
The purpose of MHS is fourfold:
- Foster genealogical research among the Moravian people.
- Facilitate the finding and contacting of living relatives.
- Conduct personalized tours and family gatherings in ancestral homelands.
- Encourage the creation of worldwide family organizations.
